Professional Summary

Hello and welcome! I am an aspiring Special Effects Makeup Artist currently advancing my craft in the Advanced Special Effects Makeup, Prosthetics, and Props program at Sheridan College.

My technical foundation began at Durham College, where I earned my diploma in Cosmetic Techniques and Management. Through this program, I developed a comprehensive mastery of beauty makeup applications, skin physiology, client consultation, and industry-standard hygiene protocols. Building upon this baseline, my current training focuses on sculpt-to-stage production, realistic prosthetic fabrication, mould-making, creature design, and character concepts.

Creative Philosophy & Focus

I approach makeup artistry as a vital tool for narrative storytelling. Whether executing intricate fantasy transformations, hyper-realistic special effects, or clean beauty concepts, my work is driven by visual precision, anatomical awareness, and artistic integrity. Every project presents an opportunity to refine technical skills while delivering immersive, dynamic visual assets.

Core Areas of Expertise:

  • Special Effects & Prosthetics: Sculpting, mould-making, prosthetic application, dynamic injury simulation, and character conceptualization.

  • Creature & Character Design: Integrating prop elements, colour theory, and textured finishes for fantasy and genre aesthetics.

  • Beauty & Media Makeup: Skin prep, editorial makeup, period-specific styles, and camera-ready applications.

  • Client & On-Set Operations: Hygiene compliance, continuity tracking, time management, and collaborative execution.

Collaborative Vision

As I continue expanding my professional portfolio, I am actively seeking collaborative opportunities with filmmakers, photographers, theatrical directors, and creative production teams.

This portfolio highlights my current body of work and documents my ongoing technical evolution within the entertainment and cosmetics industries. Thank you for visiting!

Artistic Philosophy

I build characters from the dermis up, balancing high-definition cosmetics with silicone and skin.

Every prosthetic seam and editorial glow requires rigorous technical mastery. Under hot studio lights, silicone and skin must blend seamlessly to make character-driven transformation believable and durable throughout long production days.
